Polaris Electro-Optics

Electro-optic modulators for the future of communications and compute

Fast efficient data movement is needed at all scales of computing. Polaris Electro-Optics is developing electro-optic modulator technology on basis of ferroelectric nematic liquid crystals. As a spin-off from the University of Colorado Boulder, the company leverages decades of research on liquid crystals, advanced semiconductor engineering, and co-packaged photonics. Polaris Electro-Optics was founded in 2022 and has offices in Boulder, CO and Boston, MA.
